Palm Beach runs on a winter social season, not a summer one — here is how the calendar, the heat and hurricane season actually shape a wedding date.
Palm Beach is one of the few American wedding markets where winter is peak. The social season runs roughly November through April, when the snowbirds arrive, the humidity drops, and the island’s estates, clubs and oceanfront resorts fill their best Saturdays. December through March is the crown — gorgeous, dry, breezy weather, and the highest demand and pricing of the year. Book these dates a year or more out.
May through October brings real heat, high humidity, and near-daily afternoon thunderstorms, overlapping Atlantic hurricane season from June into November. It is the value window, with softer minimums and open dates, but an outdoor summer date needs a genuine plan: tenting with sidewalls, cooling, an early-evening call time, and the flexibility to move fast when a storm rolls through.
Late October, early November and May can give you much of the season’s look and light without full peak pricing, as long as you keep one eye on the hurricane forecast. On the water and the barrier island, wind and weather are always part of the booking.
